Jennifer is an American expat from upstate New York currently living in Bordeaux for the past 8 years and raising three daughters in this dynamic and vibrant city. She fell in love with this beautiful city of stunning architecture harmonized with a "joie de vivre" of its inhabitants and chose to make it home. She holds a Masters Degree in Education and has always had a love of traveling and history. She describes herself as a life-long learner. She recently passed with merit the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) level 3 increasing her knowledge in wine. She is an experienced local and regional tour guide (working with many river and ocean cruise ship companies arriving in Bordeaux for the past 6 years), who loves to share her love and passion for her adopted city and the surrounding region.

Sarah, Dublin native, arrived in France in the late 90s. Twenty years and four Franco-Irish children later, she’s happily swapped her apple tarts for Tarte Tatin. Mastering the chic French art scarf wearing though remains a work in progress.
Now, with over five years experience as an official qualified French tour guide and passing the WSET (wine & Spirit Education Trust) level 3, she shares with you her insights and the secrets of the people, history and culture of the country that has become her second home.

Born in New York and raised in Bordeaux, Ava has a unique connection to both cultures. Growing up in this historic city gave her a deep appreciation for Bordeaux’s rich heritage, vibrant neighbourhoods, and the distinctive lifestyle that makes the region so special.
Recently beginning her journey as a tour guide, she enjoys sharing Bordeaux from both a local and cultural perspective. She is currently preparing for the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 2, further developing her knowledge of wine and the region’s renowned vineyards, and looks forward to welcoming visitors and introducing them to the history, culture, and spirit of Bordeaux.
